New Website for the Irish Community in London
UK
Community Resource
Since 2007, I have worked and volunteered in various roles within the Irish community in London. During this time,
I discovered the vast number of Irish networks, charities, sporting bodies, advisory services, festivals, events, businesses and much more, operating in this great city. There was no resource available where all of these organisations and initiatives could be easily found online, so, having taught myself to build basic websites, I built www.irish-london.com and the corresponding social channels and mailing list.
This is a not-for-profit initiative that captures all things Irish in London under one online hub. It is available to Irish not-for-profits and charity organisations to use as a free platform through which they can market their services and events. Revenue to boost the site, so that it gains visibility on search engines, is generated through small listing subscriptions by businesses and through sponsorship and advertising.

I researched the history and the natural science of the area to find inspiration and created a new treatment and service offering working with local producers and even incorporating spa services for children. Ingredients were taken from the local area to make new products and new rituals created inspired by the nature and rich history of the area.
